Consumer health data notice
This notice is for residents of Washington State, under the My Health My Data Act, and of Nevada, under SB 370. It sits alongside our privacy policy and gives more detail about the information in RepForge that those laws treat as consumer health data.
Why this exists. RepForge asks for three body measurements and turns real workouts into game progress. Washington and Nevada treat both as health data, require us to explain them separately from the main privacy policy, and require your permission before we collect them.
What we collect
- Height, weight, and body fat percentage. Used to scale encounters and pick exercises that suit you. These stay on your phone unless you switch on measurement backup in Settings, which is off by default. Leave it off and we never receive them.
- The workouts you enter by hand: the exercise, sets, reps, weight, distance, duration, and when you logged them.
- The progression calculated from them: level, experience, Maxor, and what you have unlocked.
Nothing else. We do not collect medical conditions, diagnoses, medications, treatment history, disability status, or pregnancy status. RepForge does not read Apple Health, Google Fit, or any wearable. There is no automatic collection at all. Every entry is one you typed.
How we use it
Only to run the game: to scale it to you, advance your character, calculate rewards, save your progress to your account, and show you your own history. We do not use it for advertising, for research, for profiling outside the game, or for anything you would not expect from a game that turns workouts into levels.
We do not tell you anything about your health. RepForge does not calculate body mass index or calorie estimates, and never describes a measurement as good or bad. The numbers scale a game and nothing more.
Where it is stored, and who sees it
Your workouts and progression are on our servers in the United States, through Google Firebase. Your measurements are only there if you switched backup on. Cloudflare sits in front of our traffic. Both act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. Other players see your character and your level, never your measurements or the workouts behind them.
We do not sell consumer health data. We never have and we will not. Selling would require a signed authorisation from you under the My Health My Data Act, and we do not ask for one because there is nothing to authorise.
Your consent
We ask for your permission before collecting your measurements and your workouts, separately from the rest of sign up. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing privacy@peasantmade.games or by deleting your account in Settings. Because these are what drive progression, withdrawing consent means RepForge can no longer run your character.
Your rights
- Confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data, and get a copy, including a list of anyone it has been shared with.
- Withdraw your consent to its collection and sharing.
- Have it deleted, from our live systems and our backups, with the request passed on to any service provider holding it.
Email privacy@peasantmade.games from the address on your account. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need a 45 day extension. There is no charge and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If we say no
We will tell you why and how to appeal. To appeal, reply to our response and say you are appealing. If we decline the appeal, you may complain to the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint, or to the Nevada Attorney General.
