Peasant Made Games

A note on scope. These Terms cover the full feature set planned for RepForge, including social, guild, cooperative, competitive, event, and purchasable-item features. Several of those are not present in the current release. A section that describes a feature the app does not yet offer does not create that feature or oblige us to build it; it governs the feature if and when it becomes available. Nothing here should be read as a representation that any particular feature exists today.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Peasant Made Games ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of RepForge, any related websites, applications, game content, community spaces, events, customer support channels, and connected services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, clicking to accept, downloading the app, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account and use the Services unless we expressly provide a separate parent-approved experience.
You represent that all registration information you submit is accurate, current, and complete, and that you will keep it updated.
You may create only one account for yourself unless we expressly authorize additional accounts. Accounts may not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
We may require age confirmation, identity verification, or additional information to investigate fraud, cheating, safety issues, or rights requests.
RepForge is a workout-based fantasy role-playing game that allows users to log or connect real-world fitness activity and use that activity to participate in in-game combat, raids, PvP, progression systems, social features, and related experiences.
The Services are provided for entertainment and general wellness purposes only. The Services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, personal training, emergency guidance, rehabilitation advice, or guarantees of health outcomes.
In-game rewards, rankings, loot, matchmaking, encounter scaling, mutators, and challenge outcomes are part of a game system. They are not statements about your medical condition, athletic potential, or physical safety.
Use of the Services may involve physical exertion, including but not limited to running, lifting, bodyweight exercise, mobility work, endurance exercise, sport participation, and timed challenges. Physical activity carries inherent risks, including soreness, strain, dizziness, overexertion, falls, illness aggravation, serious injury, disability, and death.
You are solely responsible for deciding whether any workout, challenge, raid, boss fight, travel requirement, or other activity is appropriate for you. You should stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath beyond expected exertion, chest symptoms, loss of balance, or any warning sign that continuing may be unsafe.
You agree not to use the Services while driving, operating machinery, supervising dangerous equipment, or in any situation where attention diversion could create risk.
If you have any medical condition, injury history, disability, surgical history, pregnancy, rehabilitation plan, or other limitation that may affect exercise tolerance, you should consult an appropriate licensed professional before participating.
The Services may permit you to connect third-party wearables, fitness platforms, health platforms, social media platforms, or other services. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their separate terms and privacy practices.
We do not control the accuracy, uptime, or availability of third-party integrations and are not responsible for errors in data reported by them.
If you manually log workouts, weights, repetitions, times, distance, or other inputs, you are responsible for accuracy. False entries, fabricated evidence, or deliberate misuse may lead to enforcement under our Anti-Cheat Policy.
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You may not cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate logs or sensors, spoof location, falsify fitness or social proof, reverse engineer the Services, use bots or automation, buy or sell accounts, harass other users, infringe intellectual property, upload unlawful content, or interfere with the security or operation of the Services.
You may not organize or promote unsafe fitness behavior, dangerous dares, self-harm challenges, unlawful drug use, or harassment through guilds, chats, meetups, raids, or player events.
Guilds, factions, chats, leaderboards, friend lists, PvP, real-world meetup tools, and event features must be used respectfully and lawfully.
You must not threaten, abuse, stalk, impersonate, dox, or sexually harass others, or use slurs, hateful conduct, or targeted humiliation.
You are responsible for your real-world conduct at any meetup, tournament, sponsored activation, or player gathering. Company-sponsored or user-organized events may carry additional rules and waivers.
We may change enemies, raids, loot tables, rewards, balance, difficulty scaling, progression systems, anti-cheat thresholds, matchmaking, event structures, and any other gameplay element at any time.
We do not guarantee that any item, enchantment, mode, boss, ranking, title, or event will remain available or unchanged.
We may reset or adjust rankings, currencies, inventory, quest status, or challenge results where reasonably necessary for balance, fraud prevention, bug remediation, legal compliance, or Service integrity.
The Services may include virtual currency, cosmetics, armor, weapons, enchantments, titles, boosts, event passes, and other digital items. These are licensed, not sold, and have no real-world cash value unless required by law.
You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use virtual items only within the Services and only while your account remains in good standing.
We may revoke, modify, replace, or remove virtual items if necessary to address bugs, legal issues, fraud, balance, abuse, or Service changes.
Certain features may require payment through Apple, Google, or another authorized payment processor. Prices, taxes, subscription terms, and billing frequencies will be shown before purchase.
Unless required by applicable law or a platform policy, all purchases are final and non-refundable once delivered.
Where a mobile platform controls refunds, you must request refunds through that platform's process. We may still investigate fraud, duplicate charges, or delivery failures and provide support.
We may suspend access to paid content if payment is reversed, charged back, disputed in bad faith, or found to be unauthorized.
The Services, including all software, code, systems, artwork, music, text, characters, story, visual design, UI, loot systems, rankings, game rules, databases, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law.
Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms and the EULA, no rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
You may not copy, scrape, distribute, reproduce, publicly display, train models on, or create derivative works from the Services except as expressly permitted by us in writing.
You may be able to submit usernames, profile information, guild names, photos, videos, social links, reports, support tickets, challenge evidence, comments, and other content ("User Content").
You retain ownership of User Content you lawfully own, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, perform, distribute, moderate, and use that User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, market, and support the Services.
You represent that you have all rights needed to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.
If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation.
We may monitor gameplay, device signals, connected-service data, manual logs, reports, and other relevant information to detect cheating, fraud, abusive behavior, or safety issues, subject to our Privacy Policy.
We may warn, remove content, restrict features, reset progress, remove leaderboard positions, confiscate illicit gains, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or our Anti-Cheat Policy.
We may preserve evidence, logs, and account information as reasonably necessary to investigate suspected wrongdoing or comply with legal obligations.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created safety risk, interfered with the Services, exposed us or others to legal risk, or engaged in fraud or abuse.
You may stop using the Services and request account deletion subject to our retention obligations and Privacy Policy.
Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute terms, and licenses granted for User Content already lawfully used.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SAFE FOR ANY PARTICULAR USER.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT WORKOUTS, EVENTS, CHALLENGES, OR CONNECTED INTEGRATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR HEALTH, GOALS, OR ABILITIES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Peasant Made Games, ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SPONSORS, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST GOODWILL, PHYSICAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR (B) US$100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Peasant Made Games, its affiliates, licensors, service providers, and personnel from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your misuse of the Services, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Please have local counsel tailor this section to your jurisdiction. A typical version would require informal notice first, then binding individual arbitration in Oakland County, Michigan, and waive jury trial and class or representative proceedings to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You and Peasant Made Games agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by written notice sent to support@peasantmade.games. If not resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue the dispute as permitted by the final reviewed version of this section.
If your jurisdiction does not permit mandatory arbitration or class action waiver for a particular claim, that part will not apply to that claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent consumer protection law in your home jurisdiction requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms, updating the effective date, and, where appropriate, notifying you in-app or by email.
Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
